Walther is the performance leader in the firearms industry. Founded as a small shop in 1886 Germany by Carl Walther, the main items produced were hunting and target rifles. Only in 1908 did Walther begin producing pistols. Their first successful pistol, however, wouldn’t come to market until 1929 with the Walter PP (police pistol). To this day, it is still regarded as one of the best concealed carry pistols. To allow American consumers even better access to their reliable European service weapons like the Walter PP and the Hammerli TAC R1, Walther Arms opened a distribution center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Today, Walther Arms continues to distribute reliable and innovative firearms all over the world, always keeping a focus on solid standards and cutting edge technology.
